The 2016 VDIT Forum was held on Friday the 14th of October at the Convention Centre, Victoria University, Flinders Street Melbourne. This year’s event focussed on strategic issues of specific interest to ICT professionals working in the higher education & research sector. Forum plenary and break-out sessions explored a subset of the “Top Ten” issues identified by CAUDIT (the Council of Australian University Directors of Information Technology).
The target audience for the 2016 VDIT Forum was the senior ICT professionals working in the sector in Tasmania and Victoria as well as invited participants from other states and countries. Approximately 70 delegates joined CIOs, industry analysts, authors, commentators and the senior university ICT professional cohort to discuss the important issues.
