Jeremy Egan is the Team Leader of the Data and Infrastructure team at Federation University Australia. With 16 years of ICT experience across the Australia and the UK, complemented by a double Bachelor in Commerce and Computing Jeremy is responsible for Networks, Server Infrastructure, Identity and Access Management and the newly formed Data Infrastructure functions.
Jeremy has an acute financial and business focus which mixes well with core technical expertise in database administration and data management. This is augmented by a working knowledge of machine learning and advanced analytics. Jeremy has played a key role in developing the data engineering capabilities of the institution to facilitate a ground up refresh of the Data Infrastructure.
He is excited to see the Data Infrastructure providing real value to the business by enabling more accurate, timely and advanced Business Intelligence.
