Bill Petridis is the Manager Audio Visual and Network Services for Deakin University and oversees the delivery of these services for teaching and learning and for staff productivity. Bill has driven the development and adoption of innovative technologies such as Next Generation AV (Converged AV over IP) and Next Gen Network Security.  Bill’s higher education and industry experience spans over a couple of decades having worked previously for Monash University as AV Manager, Data Centre Manager, Senior Project Manager and as Systems and Network Engineer. In addition to higher education experience Bill held positions as CIO for local government, as Senior Broadcast & Network Engineer for Channel 9 and as Senior AV Engineer for Sony Australia.  Bill holds a Master in IT Engineering and an MBA.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Myles Fenton leads the Audiovisual capability at Monash University. The audiovisual team are the stewards of the the university AV architecture and programme manage the deployment of all AV installations across Monash’s Australian campuses.
Myles has built a team over the last six years who are delivering consistent, reliable and easy to use AV experiences for Monash staff and students through the thoughtful adoption of pedagogy principals, design standards, a single AV software platform and stringent quality control processes.
The team is delivering over 600 new AV systems each year through strong industry partnerships with manufacturers and key Australian AV integrators.
